Facial PLASTIC SURGERY
A facelift can enhance the face, neckline, and jawline to create a much younger appearance.
Imagine feeling more confident in social and professional situations and much happier when you look in the mirror and see the many signs of aging, gravity, stress, and sun exposure diminished.
Dr. Kobienia can refresh your aged, tired appearance by tightening your facial skin. Facelift surgery can take years off of your appearance by addressing:
Loss of Facial Contours
Double Chin/Turkey Neck
Deep Nose and Jowl Lines
Dr. Kobienia conceals all facelift scars behind the ears, within wrinkles and within the hairline. The goal of the procedure is to create a naturally refreshed look, avoiding the overly tight or “windswept” look of an obvious facelift.
In most cases, patients are able to return to their everyday routines within 2 to 3 weeks of their facelift surgery.
Sagging, drooping eyelids can make you appear fatigued, disinterested, or lethargic, and can even cause visual field impairment in some cases. If you are tired of looking older than you feel, blepharoplasty, commonly known as eyelid surgery or an eyelid lift, can provide a long-lasting way to banish the bags and decrease eyelid hooding.
Blepharoplasty restores the eyes to a more youthful-looking state by addressing loose skin, weakened muscles and excess fat. Dr. Kobienia makes incisions along the natural creases of the eyelids so that scars are practically invisible. In most cases, patients are able to return to their everyday routines within 1 to 2 weeks of their blepharoplasty.
In most cases, blepharoplasty is considered an elective cosmetic procedure and is therefore not covered by insurance. However, patients who undergo eyelid surgery to correct vision impairment may find that some or all of the procedure is covered by their insurance plans.
Injectables have revolutionized the plastic surgery landscape, providing almost instant, transformative results without the need for surgery or recovery. Dr. Kobienia has helped many of his Minneapolis-area patients improve their look without the need for surgery.
While the results achieved through injectables are not permanent, the treatments may be repeated as necessary and do last for several months to a year depending on the type and placement. There are a variety of injectables available designed to reduce wrinkles, add volume, and reduce the outward signs of aging.
BOTOX® Cosmetic – Reduces the appearance of wrinkles and may prevent future wrinkles. Can be used throughout the body, but is particularly effective for treating glabellar (between the eyebrows) lines and lines around the mouth.
Dysport® – Like BOTOX Cosmetic, Dysport relaxes and prevents the contraction of muscles that form wrinkles. Used primarily in the face to treat glabellar (between the eyebrows) and frown lines.
Juvéderm® – A smooth gel filler designed to smooth away wrinkles around the mouth and nose. Juvéderm family of products are available in a variety of formulations (Voluma, Juvederm Volbella), depending on the area of the face being treated.
Restylane®– Restylane fills fine lines and wrinkles in the face, around the nose and mouth, and can even add volume and contouring to the lips. Results in lips last about six months, and skin results last between six and twelve months. Restylane® treatments can be repeated as needed.
Perlane® – Adds volume and fullness to the skin to correct wrinkles and lines, especially in the face.
Radiesse® – Replenishes the lost volume in the skin, filling wrinkles and lines. Used primarily in the face.
Fat Grafting/Transfer – Fat removed during a patient’s liposuction is refined and then injected as a filler to reduce wrinkles and/or add volume.
